• No C-wire required. It comes with a special pack, that makes it work without the c-wire.

• It requires a c wire, but includes an adapter. The adapter unit does, however, cause some functionality loss (like inability to control the fan). There are YouTube videos that explain everything in detail, just be sure to watch all the way through the end.
