Does it filter out smoke from a forest fire? null

We live in California where the air quality has been terrible; very Smokey & ash falling out of the sky 24/7. My sinuses were starting to feel really nasty so we got this for our room & living room and my throat has stopped hurting so I think it’s at least helping.
