We appreciate your inquiry. The Honeywell Air Purifier HPA100 uses both a True HEPA filter and a carbon prefilter. Neither of these filters are reusable. We recommend replacing the HEPA filter every 12 months and the prefilter every 1-3 months, depending on use and air quality. We hope this is helpful.
