The unit is too small and cheap to remove such germs.

Virus reduction claims vary by model and are clearly marked on each package and on HoneywellPluggedIn.com. We have not tested product effectiveness for the COVID-19 virus and therefore do not claim that the product is effective at COVID-19 virus reduction.
