I3 processor is made by Intel. This has an AMD 3050U Athlon processor. I have used the mic.camera on zoom and it works pretty good. You cannot expect high end at this price point, but it is pretty good. It comes with windows 10 S mode. If you want to run other software you"ll have to exit S mode..which is easy to do. S mode restricts what you can install. If you really need a I3 processor, then this doesn't have it. I will say the more important thing is ram. It comes with 4 gigs.. this won't cut it. It's easy to install another 8 gigs for about $35.00, this will give you plenty of ram for most needs. I've has the computer for 3 weeks and am very happy with it for the price.
