• Depends. For the average college student, NO. If you only browse the web, type essays/documents, play light games, & webcam, then, perhaps yes.

• I would recommend this for college students whose major is on the English aspect of things or if you are in the K-12 range. All other areas of learning in college require a more potent boost in processing power, RAM , Disk storage space, battery life to power ratio, & finesse in transformative capabilities/design. Also, keep in mind this laptop is not bad for music & movie/video streaming or internet browsing when you are taking a break from work; however, if you prefer a more luxurious experience do expect to pay up for a more premium device.
