• The HP 15 DB 0011 DX can be upgraded to 8GB DDR4 ONLY, to maximize the performance for this pc computer for the tasks design intended model from HP and the part is listed in the online manual. NOTE: This is single channel memory slot NOT dual in this model . I hope this help out for anyone who buy this model. I bought this model and upgraded the ONE channel memory and performs fantastic . Finally, the memory helps the processer run more better .

• Upgrading the RAM is only half of what you need. The processor would hold you back if you upgraded to 8GB and cannot be upgraded in this model. I would look at a model with something like a Ryzen 3 or i3 at minimum and then look at upgrading the RAM.
