“when I turn on the computer, & it boots up, it has all the squares that look like the screen of phone apps, hate that! Can I set the "classic view" on this computer? the "classic view" is a Win7 style with my folders? is that a STANDARD INCLUDED OPTION?”

Windows 10 does not have that appearance unless you are in tablet mode which you would have to manually turn on with this model. So the default appearance would be similar to Windows 7 but with the improvements in the UI made. No tiles, they are only in the start menu and even then you have the standard programs list like before.
