• Thank you for reaching out. This computer would work well for those tasks. If you would not be doing much else, particularly gaming or HD video editing, this would work good for you.

• This computer would work well for writing papers, doing Google searches (I prefer that to Bing search), as long as you keep an Office program on the computer. You should have plenty of storage space also.
