You would want to look at the system requirements for the software from the developer's site. Updates can affect the requirements which can change what settings you can run the software on or if you can run it at all. You might want to go to the store to look at various units and get recommendations from the computer team at Best Buy as they can delve deeper and get the information for the exact specs you need.

Other than a lower spec video card and processor (you'd just have to not play on ultimate whatever settings) and possible upgrade the ram at some point, this machine is fine. There are 7 screws. 2 in the corner, 4 under 1 rubber footstrip, 1 under the other rubber footstrip. Use a guitar pick or similar and gently pop off the back. Voila', ram slots. *SMH* I got this exact model for my daughter for school next August and I just upgraded the RAM in it. //IT guy for 15 yrs
