Honestly? Its probably the adapter rather than the port. I had to go through a few different adapters before I found some that worked on my Alienware that I use for work. That machine is only a year old, so I would suspect that your issue is the same. My daughter has this computer and uses it with an HDMI adapter on the TV upstairs a lot because she streams Kpop concerts that don't stream on Roku, Netflix, etc. She got her adapter at Target, I think.

Hello, Elena. Thanks for your question. This HP Laptop 15-dw3033dx has 1 HDMI port for 1 monitor. If you want more than one monitor, we recommend using a Universal USB docking station that has the matching video ports that are on the monitors.
