The computer ships with Windows 10, but it can be easily upgraded for free to Windows 11.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine came with Windows 11. When these were first produced they came with Windows 10. If you get one of those I *believe* you can contact HP to get a free upgrade to 11 if you prefer. The Windows 11 arrives in "S mode" which to me is overly protective and prevents software installation. It was an easy step to remove the S mode via a link to Microsoft's website. That's a one-way trip. You can't go back to S-mode once you've moved. Honestly I can't see why anyone would want that anyway.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought this in Aug 2022 and it comes with Win 11 in S mode....which most people will remove the S mode feature. Win11 is fine
