“Hi! Just received this laptop and when I type the keyboard sounds very shallow and it's very loud. Upon further investigation, I noticed I can physically push the keyboard interface down. It's very flimsy. Is this normal? Considering returning.”

The flexible keyboard interface is normal on these models. I haven't had any problems arise from it, but I'd still advise typing with some extra care. If you can't stand the way it feels, one option is to get an external keyboard and use that.
