• I use it when my mouse is too slow, you can touch on an item an it will appear, this is my second one and wouldn't be without it unless they stop making them.

• Yes it is like when ordering at McDonalds fast food restaurants. Touchscreen is used in combination with the mouse. You are exactly right.
