• Thank you for your question about this HP All-in-one desktop! This series is not made to be user-accessible and an upgrade will require an authorized HP service center such as Best Buy to perform the upgrade. Another option is to purchase the HP OmniStudio, which comes with 32GB of memory and is sold at Best Buy stores.

• You can probably do the upgrade yourself: search YouTube for a video on how. Be aware, however, that when the manufacturer warns against self-repairs, such may void the warranty.
