• several months There should be an expiration date on it..

• I have kept cartridges on hand for 6 months or more and they work fine.

• I'm not exactly sure, but if you don't remove the tape from the print head I think it can be stored for a very long time.

• You can check the package some packs has a Use before date on it.

• Good question. There is an expiration date on the box the ink came in. It is good until that date. I hope this helps.
