• I have a check program on my computer, and I have no problem printing out checks with this ink

• That is not MICR ink. If your checks are preprinted and already MICR encoded you can use this ink.

• No you can't use this ink cartridge to print checks! You need magnetic ink to print account/routing numbers on checks in order for the checks to be processed by the bank! If all you are printing on the check is the name of the person and the amount of the check, then in that case you can, as far as I know!
