“I went to insert my 2nd cartridge and was told it was counterfeit Had purchased it as a 2-pack at Best Buy, didn't believe it. Turned the printer on & off. It worked. Got a popup from HP saying install was correct and an offer for more WHY?”

• It has happened to me what I do is take it out put it back in turn printer on/off that usually work.

• I had not use my printer often and when I went to use I was out of ink but I didn't see how when barely used iit

• Not sure maybe printer did not recognize cartridge -or not HP but would not buy cartridge from anyone not authorized to sell product.
