IF YOU ARE HAVING WIFI PROBLEMS PLEASE LOOK HERE!!! I had a problem with the wifi as well. I had to connect the laptop to my phone's hotspot first to get through the setup process. Then I had to go to device manager - choose my network adapter which is the second one down, starts with Realtek - go to advanced - choose 2.4ghz or 5ghz in the left panel -then go to the value dropdown on the left panel and choose a setting that EXCLUDES "ax". So for me, the default setting was IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax, and now it's IEEE 802.11b/g/n. I did this for both the 2.4ghz channel and the 5ghz channel. Fixed everything.

I Have rebooted network adapters. So far this one is holding on and not shutting down. If I have to take it back will change brand. I love the 14 inch after my 15.6 envy died two weeks ago 4 yrs old. But not happy with the wifi issue of not connecting. Researching and there is more of these that can't connect. I couldn't believe I would get two lemons.

All settings have been checked and ensured to be properly set up for WiFi. They concluded it was an internet service provider issue, which I reiterated it is not. You can see in the photo a speed test of the HP Envy computer side by side with my MacBook, with the HP envy only able to achieve a speed of 59mbps - when it should be my 500mbps service (like you see on the Mac). I have no issues with my other devices. I do not recommend buying this.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We haven't had any issues with it. We bought a Samsung 360, which is like this one, and the screen was cracked on it when we got it. We looked up the info on it and people were having issues left and right with the screen on the samsung, so we took it back and got this one. It is just as nice as the Samsung, but with no screen issues.
