Same thing is happening to me. I reached out to HP support and they told me that “I had too many Chrome tabs open”, which is hilarious. The have been extremely unhelpful. I have never had a computer that gets this hot.

It is designed to keep the CPU cool, but if you are concerned, you can reach out to HP Support or Geek Squad. It should stay under 80 Celsius or (176 Fahrenheit). What it blows out heat wise should not be close to that and that temperature would be more based up on heavy gaming. If it mostly idle, the temp can sit from 45 C to 65 C (113 F to 149 F). Once again, the heat it blows out should not be that hot. If the temp it is blowing out is close to that idle range, definitely contact HP Support or Geek Squad.
