Hello, the internal processor is the Intel i7 and yes this can transfer the data for the 4K models. Here are the specifications for that processor found on Intel's website: Max Resolution (HDMI)‡ 4096 x 2304 @ 60Hz: Max Resolution (DP)‡ 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz: Max Resolution (eDP - Integrated Flat Panel)‡ 4096 x 2304 @ 120Hz.
