“The HP set up never shows up on my wifi only a HP 6000 series. However when I click on it---it asks for a password. Anyone else have this issue?”

• I too have encountered this issue. Despite the device being a 6500, it shows up as a 6000 series. However if you know how to navigate your pc, phone, or tablet settings for connected devices, you can save the password and it should stop asking every time you try to print. Hope this helps!

• I had the same problem. Use the 6000 & enter the password that is printed for WiFi on the information Page that printed when you first set up the printer
