This printer lists compatibility with the following media types: plain paper, photo paper, matte and glossy brochure/professional/presentation paper, and other matte and glossy inkjet paper. It is compatible with inkjet paper from 3x5 to 8.5x11 inches in size and in the following weights: 16 to 24 lb for letter, 20 to 24 lb for envelopes, up to 53 lb for cardstock, and up to 80 lb for photo paper.

- Answer Yes this printer works perfect using an Android. It was the number one reason that I bought it to be honest. But it has done so much more, and very very easy setup, basically plug and go. So far the easiest one to hook up that I have used, I am pleased with the printer and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

- Answer Thank you for your question, David! The printer will tell you when you are running low on a particular cartridge, and that's a good time to purchase a replacement. If you connect to the internet and enroll in the Instant Ink program, you won't have to worry about purchasing a cartridge, as a new one will be sent to you automatically whenever it is low.
