Indeed the ink can and will dry out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's possible but not likely, especially if you didn't shut the printer off or allow it to go into "sleep" mode. Both of those cap the print heads so they're not exposed to air. What has probably happened is that the printheads are clogged with dried ink. The printer has a printhead cleaning routine that you can run. If they're not printing at all, you may have to run it several times to fully clean the clog. If that doesn't work, your next option is to contact the HP support team for further troubleshooting. The printer should still be under warranty, so they may elect just to replace the printers.
