“just got this laptop and was wondering if it had a slot for a second M.2 drive or sata drive as i would like to upgrade storage and was hoping to avoid replacing the drive entirely or if i would need to get an external to do that”

• there is no second sata drive. you have to upgrade installed SSD (NVMe SSD) or use external hard drive.

• There is one available M.2 slot for a solid-state drive on this laptop.
