Thank you for the question. More laptops are being built without fingerprint readers. In the case of certain premium models (like the 15-ew0023dx), there is an IR camera for use with Windows Hello, so you can still have secure access. The Envy 15m-es0023dx was discontinued in 2022. Should you find one and want to upgrade the RAM, the max is 32GB per slot (64GB total) Upgrade capability or limitations may be different within models in the series, so the complete HP model number is important to know.
