Is the 3830 compatible with a Telekin desktop? null

Excellent question! Telekin is built on linux. Any printer which works with Linux should work on the Telekin. The issue is that while this printer and most others should work with linux, the installation is not as simple as just installing the software like one would with a Windows or Mac computer. However if all else fails, most modern HP printers have eprint which means you could email something directly to the printer to print it.
