- Answer Put your paper on the glass with the print facing down. Push the black command screen to wake up the printer if it is asleep. From the little command screen push copy. Choose the number of copies you want and push "start black" for black and white or "start color" for color copies.

- Answer Yes, the Hp envy series is the most cross platform compatible device to print from tablets, phones, laptops. You must install the HP print app from the app store then install your particular model. You can print from the app and on iOS devices you can print photos and mail from within those apps. To print mail from ipad choose the reply arrow and print. Choose printer model and click print again. The officejet series is great too.

QuestionDoes it take lots of ink for printing I had an Epsom that would not let me print in black - even if I asked to print in only black it would default to color all the time

- Answer I haven't yet had any problem with ink usage. I've had the printer for 2-3 months now and am still using the sample ink cartridges that came with the printer. Like other people these days, I don't print a lot but I expected to run out of the ink in the sample cartridges by now and haven't.

- Answer Yes, it works for Mac and PC as long as they are new enough, and Tablets you'll have to email therm to the printer. The printers come with emails, but the simple answer is yes

- Answer Since moving into my late Aunt's old home, I have become sort of the "historian for her and my siblings. I have been scanning photos from her old albums and sending them out on a weekly basis. My brothers and sisters are thoroughly the weekly trip down memory lane. For photos, do "jpeg". It'll go to your document file. When e-mailing, hit "attachment", and then go to your document file, choose what you want to upload, and Bingo! You're in business. I love it.
