Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. There is a folder that the printer creates from scanned documents/pics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. I've only scanned a few documents but I've scanned in several old photos in and it works great. Just click on the HP office icon which should be on your desktop and follow the prompts for document or picture. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you should be able to scan directly to your computer. The process will likely vary depending upon which version of Windows you have. My version is newer and you have the "Ask me anything" box in the lower left hand corner. Type in Scan. Click on "new scan" right under "file" in the upper left hand corner of the new box that showed up. Of course another box shows up where you can make choices of print quality, color, and use either the flatbed or feeder to scan your material. If you are scanning one page I normally use the flatbed. Once you click on "Scan" located in the lower middle part of this new box your material will be scanned to your computer. You should be able to preview the scan at that time. My profile is set up to where the scanned materials automatically show up in my pictures folder under a "scans" sub-folder (this is the default setting). If you want them to show up some place else, you can change the profile and the file type (I think jpg is the default).
