“Can this printer print with black ink only when a color cartridge is empty?”

• I'm considering buying this printer, so this was a great question; unfortunately, the answer is no, you cannot continue to print if any cartridge is (or goes) empty. Here's the link on HP's website: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04331666 Disappointing, I know!
