The only real need to upgrade PSU is if you want to upgrade other components. You likely won't see a performance increase otherwise. Yes, it's standard ATX so any other standard ATX should fit fine. What this PSU feeds is so basic that the stock cables which come with most any PSU should be more than sufficient. Not all 80+ or gold PSUs are created equal. Try to use a trusted and reputable brand. Coolermaster and Thermaltake are both solid options.
