These are not very upgradeable as most parts are soldered onto the motherboard to make it extremely compact. An authorized service provider can replace the existing solid state drive with a larger one(there is only one slot and the existing 256GB SSD is located there). This model has a built in screen privacy mode that you can activate with a keystroke - this narrows the angle at which the screen can be viewed dramatically. The optane system cannot be added.
