• My son first started using one at 11. Unless your grandson is on the smaller side, it should work.

• Yes they will fir the price they are good for kids. They are durable and can be adjusted for different size head. My 4 year old uses the pair I got my 10 year old. One thing to consider is tiring up the loose wiring so that it doesn't get frayed
