• Hello, This computer is currently using a Z390 motherboard and should be able to to support i9 as well as additional storage. Our computers are upgrade friendly. Thank you.

• Motherboard Supports 9th and 8th Gen Intel Core processors (Socket 1151) And yes on the SSD.
