In the BIOS in advanced mode under chipset configuration there is a setting for "Enable onboard LED in S5 mode". I set it to enabled and it turned off the cooler LED when shut off. I have also seen people post that setting deep sleep mode to "Enable S4 + S5 mode" also shuts the light off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same problem. CPU cooler light stays on all the time. I usually just kill power to the PC when it is off. It seems that the toggle in the bios does not impact it like it should and someone mentioned updating the bios to a newer version. Problem for me is I cannot find any bios for this motherboard or any instructions on how to actually upgrade it.
