Yes, works in wet areas. I wouldn't put it in the shower stream or submerge it though. Just as a precaution.

Yes, it can! It's actually pretty good in a confined space as the volume doesn't go as loud as a bigger speaker. Comes with a clip and works great clipped to a shower organizer.
