Region locked. Can’t play dvd’s Outside of region 1 encoding

This DVD Player is region free.

NO, the unit is NOT region free. I have a different DVD(another brand) player for the Region 2 and 3 movies that I view. Best Buy now carries the EMATIC brand player. It is a fairly inexpensive Region Free DVD player. It also comes with audio/video cables which allow you to connect directly to your TV, if you also like watching your movies on a larger screen. I have had the unit for a few years and have had no issues.
