Simple to operate,compact,and portable. great value!

I like this player because of the screen size and the excellent picture!

Purchased this for my Daughters birthday 2 months ahead because it was on Sale. Played one DVD for 1 minute made some really loud noises and now will not work. Can not return it because I waited to open till her birthday. Morals of the story 1. don’t buy this brand 2. Always open and make sure it works even if means opening a birthday present before the person 3 sometimes things are on sale for a reason buy brand name.

Great picture easy to use, lightweight. The only thing I wish it had is a higher volume.

We always take a DVD player when we travel to watch in our hotel room. Even with the volume turned up all the way, the sound is low. I purchased two of these and they both are like that. The swivel screen is nice, but not really necessary for me. The picture is great and it plays well. It holds a charge well and can be played while it is charging. (not all portable players can do this).

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive yet dependable portable DVD player and I came across this at Best Buy. This player has more than exceeded my expectations. From the easy to see built in monitor to the great sound I get from the headphone jack I really don't think I could have found a better player. It does not play blue ray discs but if this doesn't matter then you should grab one.

In my opinion this DVD player is good enough, it is cheap and better than the one I purchased at walmart, eva brand. I was trying to spend the least amount for a portable DVD for my son. This item does that, but it's just the screen and wall recharge...nothing else, it does NOT bring the car charger, which I def. Had to buy. It does a good job and it lasts.

Purchased 3 dvd players for grandkids and myself at deal of the day prices. I've purchased other Insignia portable dvd players in past and I highly recommend them. Works as good if not better than higher priced portable dvd players.

I teach in an alternative education setting, one room. This player is easy to use and allows students to work on individual lessons for their film class credits. Again easy to use, light weight and easy to watch. My one complaint has to do with technology not the device in that blue ray player would be great too. My understanding that is a technology issue not a marketing one.

Good dvd player. Large screen, easy controls to use. Doesnt play blue ray tho.

We picked up one for each of our kids when they were half off. Pros: They are nice to have when traveling and keep the kids entertained. Cons: 1. Short battery life (about 2 hours). This wouldn't be as big of a deal if they charged via usb, but it's a bulky AC charging cord. 2. The screens are too loose and swivel out of place too easily. I have dropped one when trying to carry between my arm and side because the screen swiveled even when in the closed position. You'd think when closed (like a laptop) the screen would stay still but it doesn't. Summary: if you can get these for a good price they are probably worth it. I wouldn't have paid full $100 retail.

This is a cool little product, I use it when I travel to watch DVD'S on, it's easy to use with not bad picture quality, kinda nice to have along on road trips, and you don't have to be any kind of techno guy to work it, and since the screen swivels, it's handy when you're in bed.
