What is this adapter commonly used for null

This adapter can be used to power any device that needs dc voltage in and round power input. The voltage can be set from 5v to 12v. The round input plug can be interchanged to fit the size you need. It can be used for PCs, radios, speakers, etc.

We purchase it for an old camcorder that we didn't have the power cord for any longer to charge it
