Lol how are they supposed to be less confusing? You said yourself that it CLEARLY STATES, "not for use with laptops." Why would they put that if it wasn't true? Its not their fault you can't comprehend simple instructions. Your lack of knowledge about compatible devices isn't their problem. Instead of assuming they are lying or misleading you, you should question your own understanding of the information. Try looking up the difference between a laptop charger and an ac adapter, and then look up your laptop model's specific charger wattage, voltage, and tip size to find one thats compatible.
