Trying to connect this to a HIsense tv with the digital optical cable. The optical port on the soundbar is square and the port on the tv is round. My cable has square ends. what kind of cable do I need? null

Thanks for the answers. I discovered i had a coaxial digital output which required a different cable plus a converter and a regular digital cable to the soundbar

I'm thinking that your connection on the TV isn't an optical jack. It may be digital but it's coax and would take an RCA style of cable. Optical won't work. If your TV had an optical port, it would fit the optical cable. It's standard.

Optical cables are all the same. There is no difference. Refer to owners manual or google it
