A:Answer I was told earlier today by an Insignia tech support representative when I asked this very same question that "each" of the speakers has 20 watts or a total of 40 watts; however, under the product description, indication is made that this Insignia soundbar model NS-HSB318 has only one (1) speaker I believe. I think that it would be wise to mention the total watt information in the product's specification's list as is done with the older Insignia soundbar--model NS-SB316. That soundbar claims to put out 39 watts and its specification rendering states that it, also, has one speaker. I read criticisms of certain soundbars that they don't have a setting devoted to "music" and this is a turn off for some people. I don't believe that this soundbar has a "music" setting, but I could be wrong.
