Yes it can if you have xfinity. I currently have the Xfinity X1 remote that controls the sound bar and my Samsung 55" 4K TV (un55ju6400). To program correctly do the following. Connect the TV and Cable Box ( I have the smaller X1 box with the X1 voice remote) Connect Insignia Soundbar with digital optical cable (Do not use RCA) Program TV using Xfinity Settings Program the Sound Bar Manually using code 32929 Set it up like that and you'll be all good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine operates independently of the TV or cable remote volume control. That's the only complaint I have with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, i purchased this device Black Friday. What i personally did was set the bar to a sound level i like and from there if i want to adjust it if the room is too noisy i use the tv remote which does adjust the overall volume. I would compare it to how a Bluetooth speaker can be turned up all the way but then you can turn it up even more by turning up the volume on your phone. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Independently. Does not have auto on/off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought and installed the bar for my sister who lives in another state so I'm answering your question from memory. I don't believe you can marry the bar with your cable remote. Everything for the sound bar needs to be controlled with it's own included remote. I'm fairly certain (sorry I can't be more helpful) that it is in stereo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it can not be programmed to a cable remote but it does turn on and off with your tv. And it’s in stero
