“The manual recommended that the temperature setting be adjusted to 4. Which is leaving me with a temperature of 48-50F. I thought that 37-40F was a safe temperature! Is the unit working properly? Or will turning it to a higher number do the trick?”

I found that the recommended setting is just right.
