“I just bought this fridge today. We’re using it upstairs on a carpeted surface to store some drinks for our toddler. My question is, is it safe to keep in the carpet? Drawing 1.5 amps doesn’t seem like a lot, nevertheless, it’s a big unit. Thoughts?”

Our compact is sitting on carpet, we did raise level legs higher, have not had issues so far.
