• Ours was hot on the outside the first day as well. I believe it was due to initially working harder to cool the fridge compartment. Since then it only gets warm on exterior when we refill and it’s working to bring contents to our desired temperature.

• Went out to the barn and felt my fridge and it felt equally cool all over. I would say that there is something wrong with yours. That is my expert opinion. LOL
