Most turntables have a moving magnet cartridge. This puts out a lower level than a CD Player or any other aux. The only turntables that put our a similar output as a CD player will have a ceramic cartridge (frequently with a flip needle) To solve your problem you will need a phono preamplifier 19 to 40 dollars on the internet. Some good ones are made by Stellar and Rolls
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ed, I don't have a turntable now, but as I recall the signal from a turntable needs to be pre-amplified to work in this receiver. You will need to amplify the signal from the turntable. I haven't had a turntable in 20 years and I don't know what receivers have the ability to directly accept phonograph input.
