• I don't see why not, but the sound will only be 2 channel and not true surround.

• You could connect sound from you TV with RCA cables. It is impossible to run surround sound. There are only 2 channels so you can run four speakers, not more than that.

• You can connect this stereo to your TV using the red/white RCA connections. Unfortunately though, this stereo receiver is only capable of stereo and not surround sound. This meaning that you can only connect speakers to a left or right channel.
