Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a two channel receiver. The only ways to hook this up to a TV is from the headphone out from the the TV using a mini jack to rca male plugs into one of the available rca inputs or male rca cables from an audio output from the TV to male rca plugs and an available rca input on the receiver. Separate speakers then need to be hooked up to A or B outputs on the receiver to receive sound out put. Yes, sending this signal to this receiver and (separate bought) speakers will sound much better than the on board speakers included on the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will make it a little better, but mostly just louder. Unless you can control settings through your tv. It helps if you can an active subwoofer and then you can run the speaker out put connections to the subwoofer, (so that the subwoofer can get the signal), then run speakers through your subwoofer speaker outputs. This way, you can keep the bass down on the stereo, and increase the treble. Now you have speakers dedicated to highs and mids, while the subwoofer takes care of the lows. The convenience of this stereo is great, the options are limited, but it's enough to enjoy movies, shows, and music.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, without even knowing the kind of TV you have, I can safely say that the 200W this amp has are higher than whatever wattage your TV speakers are. Now this won't give you 5.1 surround sound or anything, but it will give you better sound than your TV can provide with the TV's built in speaker.
