“I bought an Insignia, when I plug in the HDMI from my laptop after about 5 minutes the screen goes white/yellow. How do I keep the screen on longer? Or is there an issue with the HDMI port?”

I’d try switching the cable. Then try a different laptop. Process of elimination.
